Fancy Food, Live Music, Door Prizes, and Hoopla!

Wednesday setup, Thursday open, Friday night, take a deep breath and come to the party! Amish Acres old barn restaurant will be the centerpiece of a party celebrating fifty years of the festival, from its beginnings to the 2012 edition. The party will feature live music, videos, a SHORT speech by me, plus specially concocted food and drink. The VIP list includes all of the 2012 artists, local dignitaries, Hall of Famers, and many others reponsible for creating, growing , and nurturing Amish Acres Arts & Crafts Festival. 4,000 Bigger, Brighter, Easier Artist Applications are in the Mail

Seven of us sat in the Inn's Lilac Room and stuffed and sealed 4,000 twelve page applications last week. It has been gone over with a fine tooth comb (cliche) and brought up to match Amish Acres 50th Anniversary plans. An active Online Application is also new for 2012. It is even easier to use and for the first time, application's can make deposits with credit cards.
